What looks like a harvest now is simply more seed to plant for the harvest in the next age. We become what we behold. Whatever we stare at and think about is how we perceive and think about the world. If we behold pornography then we will start believing it as truth. If we behold soaps then we will think the unnatural drama is how the world works. However if we behold the Truth (Christ) then we will believe the truth. And as we stare at Christ, as we hang out with Him we see the lies and worthlessness of the things around us for exactly what it is, garbage.
Garbage is worthless to those who toss it out. If you want my garbage feel free. But the garbage of this world will not go with us into eternity. Therefore we should spend our lives on things that are worthwhile, that produce a harvest in the age to come.
